Fortune readers and symbolism? My husband and I were married at a small beach. As soon as we said "I Do" a beautiful rainbow appeared, spanning the two headlands. But, the thing is, it was a double rainbow. Absolutely, totally perfectly formed. A normal rainbow with an inverted rainbow over the top. We have this all on camera so we're not making it up. Some friends and I have permits to do a multi-day backpacking trip along the northern coast of the Olympic National Park near Seattle (the longest undeveloped stretch of coastline in the lower 48 states). We are all experienced backpackers, but this is our first time backpacking along an ocean coast and having to deal with tide tables, headlands, log jams, etc. Has anybody hiked or backpacked the Cape Alava area recently? How was it? Any important tips or suggestions that are specific to that area beyond the normal backpacking stuff? Can I wear hiking boots or will my feet be in the water much of the time? Thanks

18 years ago today, the Bay Area was hit with a huge Earthquake...Where were you at time?? I was chilling on my BF's porch while he was doing a 100mph wheelie down his street in San Rafael. The windows on his house did a full on roll without breaking. Later that night we went to the Marin Headlands and were in awe to see the city (SF) with no power, but fires burning.

Moor Street - Headland - Hartlepool ? I moved into this house 7 years ago and when we first moved in we were being told of a ghost and we just laughed it off like anyone else would. The FBI were told they were headed to Angel island but that would have been impossible. but they could have used the tides to take them to the Marin Headlands then dump the Equiptmant they used so the tide carried it back to the Western shore of Angel island as a distraction.
