Is it possible to walk from Golden G Bridge to Lime point?

want to take pics there of GGB.I took bus 76 today to Marin headlands and saw people taking pictures up there.Is it safe to walk up there?thanks a lot

1. NO........ 7 tourists were hit & Killed last night on the bridge, they are closing all walking access to it. as the semi hit the bus and killed 7 tourists taking photos. log onto yahoo news........ ch. 9, NOT GOOD!
2. I have no idea what Pamela (above) is talking about. There was no accident, no tourists were killed. Yes, if you start at the Lime Point Trailhead lot below Vista Point on the Marin side of the Golden Gate Bridge. From the lot, you can head south along the bay's edge on the Lime Point Trail.
