How does coastal erosion affect Farmers in mappleton?

Can you help me.. can you outline the problems that they are facing due to coastal erosion and human activity and suggest what can be done to prevent this? My topic is Holderness coast.

1. because it is eroding away the coast line where the farmers land is. this is reducing the size of his farm it could also erode into his house and farm building destroying them to hope this helped
