If I park under the bridge where there is a parking lot by Crissy Field?
and start a bicycle ride on the golden gate bridge... do they charge cyclist to return on the bridge( entering back in from MArin County?) Also, is it extremely difficult for a very beginner cyclist to bicycle into the Marin headlands( i think they call them the headlands) Thanks!

- Bikes do not pay a toll. It depends on the route you take. There are some pretty extreme elevation areas. Here's a good description: http://www.gatetrails.com/headlands.html
- There is no toll for bikes, only cars. The main parking lot is by the Warming Hut in Crissy Field (see link below). If you park there, it will be an uphill bike ride to the Presidio on our way to the GGB. If you're biking the Marin Headlands then I guess you can handle hills. If not, it might be better to park inside the Presidio by the main post and proceed to the GGB to lessen your uphill biking. I am not 100% sure if there's a time limit on parking inside the Presidio but I don't think they do. The parking lot under the bridge is at Fort Point, which is out of the way unless you want to go to Fort Point. Note: If you have Google Earth you can search for Warming Hut Crissy Field and you'll see a sattelite picture of the area. The parking lot is the one by the old pier.
