How and why is the North Norfolk coast protected from coastal erosion?

This is the title for my coursework that is due in for next week. I issed our trip to norfolk through being ill so i have no idea what to put. Also Geography isnt my stongest point out of my subjects........ Any idea's/answers so that i can put them together would be great! Thanks x
